I sit indoors
I lye on floors
Stare at the walls
And the walls stare back at me
I’m drawing figures
Whilst painting colours
Seeing shadows
Wher ain’t no shodows should be
Falling through the floorboards
Sailing on the Sea
Stars flashing out in night time
Moon floating on a breeze
We are water creatures
Alluvium in the stream
Colours sparkling breaking surface
Ephemeral bubbles in a dream
Facts of Life
Day follows night
Except for in the evening
Fish do not drink
They do they sink
Or else float too the surface
We walk a path
With no way back
Sideways is expected
So says the Crab
Who appears quite mad
Yet lives its life on beaches.
